AXA Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary has selected and appointed Adam Wickens as its senior management liability underwriter in the directors and officers team.

In his new role,Wickens will be based in London and will support Axa's management liability division internally and externally.

Joined from Ace Europe,Wickens will also be responsible for management liability underwriting for the London,Ipswich and Reading branches.

AXA Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary head of management Callum Taylor said that the company has hired Adam Wickens as a part of its expansion plan.

"It's clear to see that while some insurers are pulling back from the regions,AXA is investing in its regional offices-making underwriting expertise available to brokers on their doorstep,"Taylor added.
